Tell us about your character!

1. What is their name? (How is this pronounced?)
Nadzieja Lisle Frąckowiak (pronunciation: Nad-jay-a and Froants-KOH-vyahk(it's how i pronounce it but I don't really mind !!))

2. Who are they exactly?
A really lucky runaway bride, turned empire soldier who's abnormally joyous despite her line of work. Very slick in the mind and has a mild superiority complex that licks at the surface.
Truly tactful and ambitious with a questionably cut and dry moral compass, and in many cases has been referred to as a witch.

3. How do they typically spend a day?

• Starts the morning with a very long warm bath. Since she currently resides in Linhythe she often gets dressed and retreats to the general office area to review the situations, draw up plans for the containment in crime and string across potential threats and allies, tracking them.

• Later in the afternoon if she's free, she spars with peers or she aids others in designing and perfecting their own training. Basically nosing about to see who's capable of what and draws up plans to later use to coordinate her company's strength while covering up or exposing their weaknesses. Sorting them into groups where the best of their abilities are drawn out. (Also uses this time to catch up on gossip if there's any)

• In the evenings she dedicates time to tending to more solemn matters, reviewing reports that include M.I.A. soldiers and writing condolence letters among other correspondents between lieutenants and her major. She makes plans and arrangements for burials, contacts people she knows of and reviews notes. Also gets into contact with her few...spy peers-
  

• By the time it's midnight she's made herself ready for bed and begins to wind down, either by meditating for half an hour, reading books she's snatched up from here and there, recalling anything of significance that happened that day and any failures on her part.  Usually only one of these to get nice and tired before peacing out for the morning.

4. What language(s) do they speak? If they could learn another, what would it be?
Bratibran and common fluently; has an accent that carries over into her common and often slips between the two due to the company she carries often understanding both.

These two languages are enough for her as she remembers how challenging it was to learn common in the first place.

5. How fit or healthy are they?
She has the generic physique of a mage who underwent military training. Quite the sturdy build that's not meant for strength but has helped her maintain stamina. Her exercise is usually more mental than physical but she is very adamant about treating and bandaging her wounds to prevent infection or disease.
She has a poor tolerance for changes in weather (ie. cold wind, rains) and is the first to receive a chest cold when the weather changes, but she treats it immediately.

6. What is their current romantic and/or sexual orientation?
Demisexual/heteroromantic

7. What did they want to be when they were a child? Did these aspirations go anywhere as they grew up?
As a child she wanted to be like her mother and sister, knowledgeable with magic and married to someone of power and importance who would take care of her. She was betrothed to the most aspiring knights of the 7 clans at the time for the sake of traditional unity and had no qualms with it then (in fact, it was quite the honor, she wanted to be the most fit wife/mother for him and future generations).

As she grew up, things took a turn she didn't realize could and became the equivalent of her betrothed. Now considered one of the more powerful kin of the clans, she's in the position to opt out of the betrothal and find another partner she finds suitable if thats what she choses (ie. Another mage to start a strong magical line/kin)

8. How good are they at swimming?

She can float on her back like a pro ! You'd be jelly if you saw !

9. What about their cooking skill? Who usually makes their meals, themselves or someone else?

10. What are they attracted to or repulsed by in other people?

✔  People who seek purpose and find unique ways to obtain their goals (having similar goals is a plus).

✔  Generally a more mature spirit than hers but not overbearing (Like..the old man type who listens and soothes but doesn't get in the way?)

✔  Magical individual's interest her

✖  People who don't smell natural- Overly perfumed bodies that you can't identify with a natural scent is something she finds gross but apart from that she is not...repulsed by anyone. Always finds something intriguing in others !

11. What is their sleep schedule like?

Always up before the sun and gets 5 hours of sleep a day, be it in intervals or all at once. It's actually plenty, as she shows no signs of sleep deprivation at all and feels genuinely good. Naps are heavenly and if you include the time she spends meditating it can equal to a total of 7.5 - 8 hours of rest in a day.

12. How well do they tolerate spicy food?

She's quick to get the runny nose once it's ingested, but keeping it down is easy and she enjoys the flavors accompanied with it. It will get better.

13. What’s on their bucket list?

• Rise to a position where she will be informed of the country's big picture plans as well as having a say in how it will operate.

• REMAIN, at the top of her clan's honorable list so as not to lose its privileges.

• Complete her mentors research and have a protégé of her own

• Eventually owning a real mana crystal from Reluir is on there too !

14. What is their money management like?

Fairly simple? She carries only what she's willing to spend and sends the rest to family. A good portion is set aside for once she's gone though, and if you look at the notes it is really organized.

15. How do they show love or appreciation?

Through reinforced endearing comments and the amount of time she'll save for your company ? Little gifts every now and again...

16. How do they handle anger?

Lisle very rarely feels or acts on anger anymore- but when she was younger she tended to be very grumpy and unnecessarily argumentative when things didn't go her way.

17. What are some of their opinions on different cities and religions?

Avoids conducting an opinion on the Miras kingdom apart from the northern continents and their obvious pros-.

She genuinely believes she can turn Linhythe around if she can work with the right people (Read: Control the right people)

Elven populated cities like Iadlain and Reluir she looks at curiously and would like to get her hands on their knowledge of magic.

She feels pity for Tusa and its predicament. Knowing mostly the poorer side of it's life and people and although doesn't actively speak about it, she understands why the rebels rebel as they do- not to say she wouldn't fight against them if she were ordered to, but she has great respect for their ability to stand up for themselves.

The main cities, Koben and Song-lu seem attractive, but she doesn't trust those who live in lush areas all that much. She even feels mild 'contempt' towards them, most likely instilled by her upbringing as it just seems a bit too vibrant and vivid and out of control. Like a distraction that covers up the mess underneath. Which she doesn’t approve

As for religion she's....quite ignorant? She believes there's certainly great unexplained power amongst them but the idea of fae ruling over it doesn't settle.

Anything natural and kind of fresh but not excessive?

Not her favorite, but on her left side is how she tends to end up !

26. Clothing style?
Things that are not restricting, loose skirts, and airy blouses that are usually a bit dull or easy to coordinate with? She really enjoys a good high-rise pant since she travels on horseback frequently, and flat shoes.

27. Weather?
Sunny with light wind-  Nice and warm !

28. Hobby?
Asserting her presence...?

29. Place to hang out?
Places that she can climb and then dangle her feet over, like trees and roofs, docks and fences or bridges.

30. Way to de-stress?
Practicing core work (crunches, yoga etc) and meditation.
Though at times when that doesn't work she has an even quicker response which is to dunk her head in cold water and hold her breath for as long as she can.

31. Midnight snack?
Pickles for sure, or salted cucumbers (same difference really)!

...A compliment (?)

33. Mode of transport?
Horsesplz ! But when she can afford it she likes riding the airships and the trains- They're so much faster and they allow her to multitask~

What would your character do if:

34. A child tried to pickpocket them and failed?
Chuckle at their failure...wish them better luck next time.

35. It started raining very heavily and the only nearby shelter was a stranger’s umbrella?
Attempt to create a makeshift umbrella out of anything, comment on how lovely the strangers umbrella in hopes they'd catch the drift.

36. They noticed a scorpion on their chest?
Definitely scream and attempt to flick it off

37. They noticed a scorpion on someone else’s chest?
Try to remain calm, attempt to flick it off !!

38. A guard told them they were under arrest and asked them to come quietly without an explanation?
Demand an explanation, make several attempts to trip the guard but not actually cause physical harm. An earful of questions too...

39. They found themselves barefoot, unarmed and penniless in an unknown city, with absolutely no recollection of how they got there?
Wonder if she really wants to know what happened and scout for a way back to where is familiar.

40. One of their friends or relatives came crying to them in the middle of the night?
Absolutely startled because...you must be desperate if you've come to her. She'd be quiet, let you sob it out and offer her shoulder, but would only prod if you decided to talk about it first.

41. Someone punched them at a bar?
Ponder aloud whether the punch would create a bruise and then make false promises that they'll pay if it does and leave it at that.

42. They saw a stray kitten wandering on the street and a speeding carriage heading straight towards it?
Hope that a reflexive notion wouldn't create a chain of bad reactions (?)

43. They were very hungry but the only edible things available were some live snails, unidentified mushrooms and moonshine?

44. Have they ever been in love?
There was a time she thought she was but...now she is unsure how it was possible.

45. How single and ready to mingle are they at the moment?
As far as she'll reveal, very single and...happy to mingle?

46. Have they ever killed or seriously hurt someone?

Yes, a handful of kills and a lot of injuries but she's doesn't make a habit of looking back to see the damage she's caused-

47. Who is the most important person (or people) in their life right now?

 Family of course~

48. What is something they deeply regret?
There is lots of regret to go around...but one thing she lingers on is dragging someone through a lot of grief with her, rather than cutting ties way back when-. A lot of things may have turned further in her favor if she learned to be less selfish sooner.

49. Are they a virgin?

Surprisingly no !

50. Do they have any secret bad habits?

• She hits people when she wants their attention (lightly at first but progressively harder if ignored).

• She bites her nails with precision and lines them up on a surface then forgets to discard them

• Leaving others areas without putting things back where they came from, also leaving without shutting the door

• Cracking her back and or knuckles spontaneously, no matter the company or situation

51. Have they ever been drunk or high? What are or would they be like if they were?
Ohhhhohoho yes-

High in fact, on something that was supposed to help contain her migraines but proved to be a little too strong for her at that age !

She'd managed to stagger into town attempting to catch a firefly and chased it to great lengths until the stars came out. Once they did she sat down and stared at them for about an hour, unmoving (and unwilling to be moved) before exclaiming that they outline a shape similar to that of Chris P. Bacon (her old pet pig) and attempted to relay this fact to everyone who passed by.

Eventually something triggered an upsetting idea in her mind and she began to cry and demanding answers to her incoherent questions before she was soothed and drifted to sleep.

52. What would your character say (or do) to you if they met you?

 Love me I hope....

53. In real life, where would your character live and what would their job be?
Maybe in Poland or Germany. She'd be an honorably discharged soldier who took it very hard. Probably goes back to school later but feels a lot of resentment. Very passive aggressive.
Or an ex-ballet dancer who damaged her legs. Still passive aggressive though....

54. If your character could read other characters’ applications like resumes, who would they pick out as acceptable roommates?

As long as they don't snore, their manners are above par and they have a sense of humor- All are welcome ~ (bonus points for dark elves)

55. What other characters in the group would you never ever want your character to fight against, and why?
Lisle is built primarily for fighting . The stronger the relationship the more passionate the feuds (I THIRST FOR THEM)!

But if I had to chose it would be Bratkowice leader Ilyas-- She has a lot of respect for them and wouldn't want them to see how easily she could be defeated or show in anyway that she can't be as tough as them (one day- maybe)!

56. Which city leader would you like to take your character on a magic carpet ride?
Ilyas again and of course Celestina for her...long flowing locks in the air as well as bouncing bosom. But also would love to fly with queen Morven (IF SHE WOULD GIVE HER THE TIME OF DAY??)

But a willing companion is the best companion so...
