TL;DR: Book smart and unecessarily smug yet oddly boisterous captain. Don't let it get to you- she's just as uncertain in this world as the rest of us...

Nadzieja tries her best to presents herself as a very strong, well put together and intelligent young woman; wishing to gain the trust and admiration she’s worked hard to achieve from the people around her. Though she speaks her mind frequently, questioning orders and ideas left and right and takes special pleasure in giving her commanders grief- she's ultimately a dutiful soldier who carries out commands unwavering when it's expected.
She expects the same level of obedience from her own subordinates, the woman does enjoy a bit of intelligent banter, and is always impressed by those she can dabble with over the sheepish kind.

Nadzieja is a rather guarded individual- keeping her composure against harsh feelings of anger, sadness or fear, and replaces it with more controllable feelings of curiosity and humor on the principle that empathy never got her far. A front that allows her to remain calm in disastrous situations, and take them in relative stride.
This isn't to say she is completely emotionless or callous, on the contrary she is quite expressive and warm- but this is merely for the sake of pleasantries. An unwavering guard she puts up to help endure the painful and often questionable memories they face- and even finds it quite rewarding when she's able to help take peoples minds off of reality for just a moment.

Still in the process of learning how to remain passive to strangers, as a Bratkovan, Nadzieja passes judgment on others with ease, and eyes strangers with skepticism and sometimes immediate distrust. Though her judgment isn't set in stone, it is still very hard to wiggle out from under her labels.
But rather than shy away from unfamiliarity, Nadzieja comes on strong during first impressions; boldly questioning peoples business and beliefs- shaking them up to see what type of character you are, regardless of how you might feels. Fortunately, her curiosity is genuine which grants her tolerance for people's outward personal tendencies (eg. selflessness/pride/vanity etc), as she's often more interested in what you have in mind for your life and goals as well as what goes on in your head.
Though her intentions are simply to become familiar with another, she rarely exercises regrets for coming off too harsh or offensive when she fails- as sensitive people truly bore her and she wastes little time with them. Preferring those who stand for themselves and what they believe in- even if it’s something selfish- she can appreciate a strong-willed soul.

Not someone who's easily swayed by failure, Nadzieja has the fortunate ability of keeping her goals in focus. With a very long line of patience for both people and projects, she’s able to see the bigger picture from far away and willing to embrace the challenges in between. Her patience coupled with her ambitions makes her quite the progressive individual, always willing to extend her knowledge and hard work if it means getting a working end result.

The Frackowiak’s are a relatively large and traditional clan of people located in the Northern parts of Bratkowice, holding an impressive military lineage. They, like most of their neighbors, have always shown a very dignified sense of pride in their nations ideals and come off as very stoic and aloof individuals.
Nadzieja was born the fifth child to Ilivia and Seryozha Frackowiak, and unfortunately, the only child to harbor magical abilities in her particularly generation. Considering her predicament, Nadzieja's future was already set for her when she was born, as being the youngest left her with little to inherit, thus she was made to be molded into marriageable material,  the fact of her being an untrained mage only complicated things slightly. The Frackowiaks were never ones to waste potential talent, and valued discipline and control in their kin, so they scouted through the town in hopes she’d find a teacher that could teach her to utilize her power to some degree.

As luck would have it, they found success in the small town of Stronghurst, not too far ahead where an elderly sage was staying after a long ways of traveling. She’d decided to retire in her hometown and in her spare time, taught the five year old Nadzieja the very basics of magic. She progressed at a rapid pace while possessing an uncanny amount of resolve and dedication for the intricate details which intrigued the elder sage the most. Pleased with the child's curiosity and abilities, the sage suggested that Nadzieja seek a further education that a proper school or travel could offer. Thus she was enlisted in the  Foreign Corps and was provided with a proper education on mage hood.

The uniform lifestyle overcame her default housewifely manners and eventually, when she became a well trained mage and a much more educated and rounded young woman, Nadzieja left the guild prematurely to travel to the much enthusiastic city of Koben with the Sage. There she sought refuge and temporarily cut off ties with the family while conveniently lodging with the Sages sons. Through her time in lodging with the two young men, she grew greatly influenced by the military lifestyle and appreciated it’s uniform habits. Constantly working and bettering her skills between the fine education system that Koben had to offer and the personal training the Eberhardts gave, Nadzieja eventually graduated a fully fledged Sorceress in her late teens.
Through the exposure she’d received in a military type system, she was beyond uncomfortable with returning home to settle with the wifely duties that were bound to await her, and through the eldest Eberhardts influence, she was able to participate in the training camps a little earlier than most. Ever since, she’s been considered on the fast track, working tirelessly amongst her peers to make a name for herself, something honorable and respectable for others to admire.

During the battle of Amedra, Nadzieja encountered a considerably a huge stepping stone as she sadly lost her Captain and was promoted to take over his position through recommendation and overall performance qualification. She is one of the youngest Captains in her field and certainly not acknowledged as a worthy person in command but thrives to change that in the years to come, seeking acknowledgment from her upper-clansmen and planning a comfortable and stable future for herself.

Recently returned with a vengeance from her POW status in the North- where the sour taste of karma swiveled round her mouth for so long. It's been a bitter time ever since, and she is most distrusting of her commanders as well as the Emperor, but the world is in far too much chaos for her to do much else apart from her job.
Now she'll do all she can to protect the world given the power she has- and hopes her soul isn't too tainted to be of service [Faolin forgive her ].
